WHAT IS A CHILD CUSTODY INVESTIGATOR?
A child custody investigator is a private investigator that is hired by one parent, appointed by the court or CFI to investigate the other parent by gathering information and evidence pertaining to the activities and character to show that they are acting or not acting in the best interest of the child.
What is the difference between a Child Custody Investigator (CCI) and a Child and Family Investigator? Honestly, not much. In most cases the difference between a CCI and a CFI is a nothing more the technique and approach used to gather evidence. CCI’s engage in alternative legal techniques to provide you the verifiable documentation to assist the legal professionals in pursuit of the best interest of your child.
Most CFI’s are very professional and extensively trained in the legal and clinical aspects of a child custody matter. A CCI is trained and has an expertise in performing tasks outside the formal clinical and legal office setting.
